GOSSAMER GEAR Silverback 65 Backpack - it's new updated version of the Silverback, which is selling only through Gossamer Gear's retail partners. It's the largest model from Gossamer Gear's family of backpacks made for those who are ready to take on tough terrain.

Silverback is a lightweight and comfortable backpack which has been morphed into the most configurable and durable pack that Gossamer Gear have ever made.

It can be configured for different kinds of trips, from long-distance thru-hiking pack for larger loads to multi-day backpacks, is also great for everything from off trail hiking that involves bushwhacking, ski touring, mountaineering or overnight camping trip. While the Silverback 65 weighs more than Gossamer Gear's other backpacks, it's by far the most durable. 

This is the first pack from Gossamer Gear that can carry upwards of 40 pounds, in order to do that they created a removable lightweight polycarbonate frame that doesn't sacrifice your comfort. This is the most comfortable pack that you have ever carried due to world-class weight transfer that the frame carries directly into the hip belt and with the addition of the Sitlight pad.

Silverback is feature-rich and has no shortage of pockets and storage. This pack has a lot of great features like pockets in the belt, open compartment on the outside of the pack for rain gear, lunch...large water bottle pockets that make it easy to grab as you're hiking along, roll top closure, full side compression and multiple gear loops for optimal customization. It can be compressed pretty small for shorter trips.

The Silverback comes in three sizes (small/medium/large) with a one-size-fits-most medium hip belt (included) and Sitlight pad (included). With no exposed mesh & custom Robic fabric, this pack is perfect for bushwhacking and on trail use!
