Volpi Outdoor Gear FastPack 30 - is a perfect pack for those who like to move fast on the trail. It has no hipbelt instead it relies on vest type straps similar to a trail running vest. The lateral adjustment system of FastPack makes the pack hold firmly on the user's back while moving fast. The adjusters compress the lower section of the pack with the front straps, creating a zone of tension where almost all the backpack’s weight rests. You will comfortably carry up to 9kg/20 lb (recommended) with no need for a hip belt due to lateral adjusting system, of course you can always carry more. Unlike a lot of ultralight frameless packs this pack has load lifters which bring the load tighter into your back.

FastPack features built-in pockets with holders on top to hold water bottles and many attachment points on the shoulder straps.

Made with Challenge Ultra 100/200 a highly abrasion resistant, ultralight and waterproof fabric made by Challenge Sailcloth. Ultra fabric is likely the lightest, strongest, most durable  and waterproof fabric on the market today.

FastPack has the ability to modify its volume. Maximum capacity is 40 liters, but you can cinch it down to 25 liters. Thanks to innovative design it is possible to adjust the front cords and the side sliders to obtain an ideal backpack for short hikes. The advantage is that it can also be an ideal backpack for ultralight long-distance hiking, since its maximum capacity is 40 liters. 

FastPack was used on a trek of more than 790 km through the Colorado Trail by the owner and founder of the brand Matteo Volpi. It was there that the new strap system and volumetric adjustment were put to the test.
