BIG AGNES Fly Creek HV1 Platinum - is the lightest double wall free-standing tent for one person which comes with everything needed for setup. The exceptional design, coupled with awesome fabrics makes it hard to beat in terms of efficiency.
The Platinum's low weight is achieved with thin material and an all-mesh body, great for star gazing and ventilation. Big Agnes have colored mesh which accentuates the Platinum's modern design. Fly Creek HV1 Platinum weighs in a just 652g on the trail and with the single door and vestibule the Fly Creek is a simple intuitive setup and the free-standing build makes it easy to pitch almost anywhere.
The high volume architecture increases interior space without increasing weight giving you more room when you need it. The vertical single door construction with a side zipper entry creates more usable space in the vestibule keeping gear dry and allowing for dry entry. The shape holding corner construction gives the floorplan a roomier living space than before so you have room at your feet for gear. These tents come ready to pitch with pre-cut guylines and tensioners webbing and easy grip zippers. Three interior mesh pockets and super light J stakes (11x) are included with the tent, so you get a premium and ultralightweight stakes.
The lightweight polyester mesh tent body is highly breathable while the silicone treated nylon ripstop floor and fly are extremely lightweight with a 1200mm waterproof polyurethane coating to ensure protection for rain and moisture. With the DAC Featherlite NFL pole system and a durable hub pole design this has become the experience in serious backpackers tent.
All of the seams are taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (no PVC or VOCs) to further protect the tent from the elements. Because of the ultra-lightweight materials, use of the Big Agnes Fly Creek HV UL 2 Footprint (sold separately) is highly advised to protect the floor of the tent against rocks, roots, and moisture.

Fly Creek HV1 Platinum is Fast Fly compatible which is the way to roll if you are heading out into the super warm weather. Leave the tent body at home if you want to travel light and use it also in "fast fly" mode, only rainfly alone with the footprint (sold separately) for a tarp-style set-up that weighs only 425g.
It can be set up either without the rain fly only inner mesh tent on nights with clear weather, which allow you great views outside before you fall asleep.
